Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons Newfoundland and Labrador

The Grand Chapter of Newfoundland and Labrador was consecrated on May 28 1994 at a meeting of the Grand Chapter of Nova Scotia, held in Gander, Newfoundland. There are six chapters of which Shannon Chapter No 1 is the oldest having been chartered by the Supreme Grand Chapter of England on August 3, 1864 as Saint John's Lodge Chapter 579 and Chartered by the Grand Chapter of Nova Scotia on June 6, 1876 as Shannon Chapter No. 9.

Where & When they meet:

Chapters meet monthly & are closed for July & August, except as noted.

• Corner Brook: Milley No. 2 - 2nd Tuesday except June, July & August. Installation January.

• Gander: Arklie No. 3 - 2nd Tuesday except June, July, August & September.  Installation January.

• Grand Bank: Atlantic No. 4 - 3rd Monday except May, June July, Aug & Sept. Installation January.

• Stephenville: Ouananiche No. 5 - 4th Wednesday except June, July, August & December. Installation January.

• Springdale: James Strong No. 6 - 2nd Monday except July & Aug. Installation November.
